“Place Matters” Community Health Endowment Speaker

The FCLC was delighted to hear from Lori Seibel of the Community Health Endowment regarding the Place Matters 5.0 of 2023 at the general meeting on May 8th. The instruction was extremely fascinating, and spotlight on the effects of poverty in our area, as well as things that we can do as faith leaders which included:
1. share the difficult conversations about poverty
2. lift the weight of the impoverished
3. embrace the significance of brain science
4. work with private and public partnerships
5. resolve to learn with a willingness to act
6. be a local (people will reach out to you if the know that they are your neighbor)
